Wiesław Różacki, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems

The future of energy – how will new trends change the functioning of the economy?

 

Wiesław Mariusz Różacki was born on January 23st, 1958. He graduated from the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering in Warsaw and finished MBA post-graduate studies at the University of Warsaw.

He started his professional career in 1982 at Energomontaż Północ on the construction of Bełchatów power plant, later on the construction of a power plant in Helsinki and in Hanau (Germany). He worked in the company for over 20 years, starting from the position of Inspector to the President of the Management Board.

In the years 2005-2012, as the President of the Management Board, he managed the largest RAFAKO boiler factory in Poland in Racibórz. At that time, the Racibórz company transformed from a boiler manufacturer into a general contractor for comprehensive energy investments, one of the largest in Europe.

He is actively involved in the business environment all the time, being member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce for Energy and Environmental Protection – and Expert member of the Consultative Council at the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology.

Since 2013, he has been managing the operations of the international Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems group on the Polish market.
