A fleet of our trucks has also started to be built in Poland. Our Polish colleagues have taken over 4 Volvo FH tractors and together with semi-trailers have created 4 trailers as the basis of a new own fleet in PL.
For the calendar year 2023, we also replaced 28 trucks in the Czech Republic and 12 in Slovakia with new ones. This means that 95% of our vehicles meet the requirements of the Euro 6 emission standard. We also reduce CO2 emissions from transport by efficiently managing the movement of our vehicles, i.e. reducing empty kilometres, running on empty, fully utilising the freight capacity of the vehicles, monitoring consumption, etc. We are also continuing to test e-trucks because we want to find an efficient model for deploying them in normal operation and we may have already found one, but it’s too early to tell….
