When the flood waters burst into Ostrava, they unfortunately also affected the cellars of the Ostrava-Hrabová Children’s Home (Dětský domov Ostrava-Hrabová). The children from the home had a common and special wish: “We would like new suitcases.” The original ones were already worn out and the water had definitely destroyed them.
The director of the home Mgr. Jaroslav Dvořák told us how the children love to travel and that are busily preparing a travel itinerary for next year now. To give their travel dreams a green light, our Charitable fund of ESA employees decided to help. And so we donated 32 beautiful suitcases that will be companions on their journeys to new places and experiences.

Our Ostrava warehouse and dispatching also offered a helping hand. ESA logistika supported the charitable company yourchance through our colleagues in Ostrava. We provided transport and storage capacity in Ostrava for the Christmas project. It was 9 pallets containing painted pictures and creative products that will become Christmas presents for children from orphanages. The children can paint these pictures themselves, which will bring them joy and the opportunity to create something of their own. It was up to us to get them to more orphanages in time.
