ESA logistika has launched a new logistics center for Panasonic Heating and Cooling division in Pomerania

Due to the development of the offer of the Japanese electronics concern in the field of heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration solutions and expansion in Poland, Ukraine, the Baltic and Nordic countries, Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Europe has established cooperation with one of the leading logistics operators – ESA logistika.

As a result of this cooperation, a tailor-made logistics project was created, located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in the modern 7R Park Tczew III complex. The location was chosen so that the center of gravity for the distribution of the customer’s goods was as optimal as possible, also taking into account container deliveries. This solution will effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere and minimize the number of empty kilometers in transportation.

In the implementation of this logistics project, ESA logistika Polska proved what customer orientation and flexible cooperation can look like, ensuring annual expansion of the warehouse space from the initial 20,000 m2 to 30,000 m2 in the following years. This solution allows Panasonic to implement its sales plans effectively using the available space and thus optimizing the costs of logistics services.

As Łukasz Dziewanowski, managing director of ESA logistika Polska, emphasizes: “It is in our DNA to implement projects for our clients that increase efficiency. That is why we provide Panasonic with several solutions that are tailored to the customer’s needs so that the effectiveness of operations is at the highest possible level.” These include drive-in racking systems for 8,000 pallet spaces, a BMS media management system with DALI lighting, and equipment enabling the unloading and manipulation of goods without pallets. The height of the warehouse, 12.5 net meters, is also worth paying attention to, which allows for appropriate optimization of the storage space.
