During the past fiscal year 2023, our company continued to grow in many ways. We continued to expand our capacity, but we also renewed and upgraded our technical equipment.
We expanded our warehouse map with two new locations. A warehouse with a capacity of 20,212 m2 / 21,223 pallet places for client Panasonic was opened in Tczew(Poland), and another warehouse building with a capacity of 12,650 m2 / 15,350 pallet places for multiple clients was opened in Senec, (Slovakia).
We continued the planned and never-ending renewal of our transport technology in both domestic and international truck transport as well as in distribution logistics. ESA logistika Polska laid the foundations for its own road freight convoy and acquired its first tractors and semi-trailers. Overall, we have achieved a 97% share of Euro 6 vehicles in the convoy of all our trucks. We are aware that Euro 6 is the current high standard, but we are also preparing to expand our fleet with electric vehicles. During fiscal year 2023, we conducted a number of tests in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia to help us define the future role of these vehicles in our fleet and their deployment on appropriate routes.
The replenishment and renewal of equipment also took place in the material handling equipment category. On the largest scale, this was in our largest warehouse in the Czech Republic in Jažlovice.
There are also many activities that cannot be represented by pictures and described by numbers. These include in particular the continuous improvement of the electronic control system for storage and transport, but also for the overall management of our company. They may be “invisible”, but their impact on the efficiency and management of the company is significant.
It is essential for us to meet the needs of our clients in a quality, efficient and continuous manner. All the expansions and upgrades we have made are related to this, and of course we have many of them planned for this fiscal year 2024.
