The vehicle fleet of ESA logistika has welcomed a new specialist for urban operations – the Scania P 220 B 4x2LB, a distribution truck designed in cooperation with our customer to perfectly meet their specific requirements. Its primary operational area will be Ostrava and its surroundings, where dense urban development, low underpasses, bridges, narrow streets, and strict weight limits place high demands on delivery vehicles.
Practical Solution for the City
The truck’s greatest advantage is its unusually low isothermal body with a hydraulic tail lift. With an overall height just over two meters, it can pass under low bridges and underpasses where conventional trucks cannot enter, and it can unload goods in height-restricted areas. This feature significantly expands the possibilities for direct deliveries and eliminates unnecessary detours, saving both time and fuel in urban traffic. The vehicle is primarily intended for the distribution of beverages and food products that do not require refrigeration – a product segment that makes up a significant part of the supply to restaurants, shops, and other urban establishments. The combination of a low body, easy access to cargo, and a hydraulic tail lift ensures fast and safe unloading even in restricted spaces.
